Olivia & Jeremy’s Fun and Unique Wedding at The Manor House at Prophecy Creek | September 17, 2023

On September 17, 2023, I had the incredible honor of photographing Olivia and Jeremy’s wedding at the beautiful Manor House at Prophecy Creek in Ambler, PA. Their wedding day was nothing short of magical, with unique and fun details that perfectly captured their personalities and love story. While the weather didn’t fully cooperate (hello, surprise rain!), this couple handled it with grace and made it a day filled with love, laughter, and beautiful memories.

A Rainy but Beautiful Wedding Day

Sometimes, weddings come with unexpected surprises, and for Olivia and Jeremy, that meant an impromptu change of plans when it started to pour just as their ceremony was about to begin. But, in true Olivia and Jeremy fashion, they embraced the challenge and moved their ceremony indoors at the last minute. Despite the rain, the ceremony was filled with heartfelt moments as they officiated their own self-uniting ceremony, a special tradition allowed in Pennsylvania, symbolizing their deep connection and commitment to each other. Their resilience and positivity were a true reflection of their love and the joy they share.

Personalized Details & Fun Elements

Olivia and Jeremy infused their wedding with personal and unique details that truly made their day one-of-a-kind. The theme of their wedding was a blend of natural beauty and lighthearted fun, with over-the-top florals and a wildflower aesthetic crafted by Rachel Heil of Tallowwood Flower Co. The floral arrangements added a gorgeous garden feel to the venue, while custom escort cards featuring illustrations of each guest’s face brought a personal and whimsical touch to the reception.

Other standout details included a welcome table with programs and a unique game for guests—a crossword puzzle and movie/TV show guessing game featuring screenshots with Olivia and Jeremy’s faces replacing those of famous actors. Their love for Diet Coke and Pop-Tarts was honored with a special table showcasing mini Pop-Tart pyramids and personalized bottles of Diet Coke. The fun didn’t stop there—guests were treated to custom party favor t-shirts, including one design featuring a humorous ketchup joke that tied into the ceremony!

Capturing Candid Moments

Olivia and Jeremy specifically requested that their photos be as candid as possible, capturing the natural flow of their day. They weren’t looking for glam shots but wanted to document their authentic selves and the special moments as they unfolded. This approach made the day feel genuine and allowed me to capture the fun, love, and emotion that filled the air. From their indoor ceremony to the laughter shared over Pop-Tarts and Diet Coke, every moment was filled with joy and authenticity.

Their Love Story

Olivia and Jeremy’s love story began in 2016 while working on the FOX show “Superhuman,” but their romance truly blossomed when they reunited in 2019 on the finale of NBC’s “Bring the Funny.” Their shared sense of humor and creativity were evident throughout the day, from the self-designed invitations (featuring dried flower arrangements) to their DIY video guest book, where guests could leave fun video messages using an iPad and ring light setup.

One of my favorite parts of photographing their wedding was learning how their relationship grew through unique experiences like wandering through corn mazes, spending nights in cozy cafes, and even transforming a small bedroom into a holiday wonderland. It’s no surprise that they incorporated so much creativity and humor into their wedding day, and their friends and family were truly an integral part of their celebration.

Photos with Fall Foliage and Nature

Even though rain altered their plans, we were still able to capture the stunning fall foliage at The Manor House at Prophecy Creek. This venue is known for its beautiful outdoor spaces, and the gardens provided the perfect backdrop for their couple portraits. If you’re planning a fall wedding, I highly recommend looking for venues like Prophecy Creek, where the natural beauty of the season can play a starring role in your photos.
